Rodotihos or Kalohtistos (“well built”) is an ancient monumental retaining wall, more than 50 m. long and about 5m. high. It is structured on the traditional, elaborate polygonal system of Lesvos, which is characterized by the curvature of the seats of each stone, with the hinge being achieved by the use of a lead rule. The stones deliberately avoid achieving perfect alignment, however they do maintain a remarkable stability that has been maintained through many centuries. Kalohtistos is at the port of Apothika, near Agra village. DJI Mavic Air 2
